Fundraising
The RNLI fundraising teams are the often unsung lifeboat volunteers. Their tireless efforts are not always noticed by the public but they make a vital contribution to saving lives at sea.
In 1891, the RNLI became the first charity to organise a street collection, marking the beginning of a strong fundraising tradition and admiration that people have for the crews and lifeguards.

Poole fundraising team
Poole and District Fundraising Group is an integral part of our lifeboat family at Poole. Through a sense of personal responsibility and pride in what we do, the volunteers raise awareness and help to generate the income that keeps our boats on the water.
If you'd like to help us you can get involved in a variety of ways – including rattling buckets, supporting events or baking cakes for coffee mornings – and you can commit as much or as little time as you want!
