The RNLI has an Education service to support children, schools and youth groups with beach safety advice and information about the RNLI. All our services are free though we are able to provide support to those who do decide to fundraise for the RNLI.
We offer the following services:
The RNLI's Shorething website also provides a comprehensive set of cross-curricular resources for children and teachers/leaders.
The teachers' section includes resources and teaching packs for all key stages with downloadable lesson plans, whiteboard activities and project plans.
The resources include teaching packs for Key Stage 2 All Aboard and Key Stage 3 On Your Wavelength.
Our new multimedia teaching resource On Your Wavelength covers areas of the PSHE and Citizenship curricula. It will help your pupils to develop the skills to make safe decisions and to find out about volunteering, fundraising and the role of the RNLI.
